What is Freemasonry
Freemasonry is considered the world’s oldest fraternity. Modern Freemasonry goes back to the early 1700s when 4 Masonic Lodges in England got together for the first time to create what would become the United Grand Lodge of England (U.G.L.E). Today there are millions of Masons around the world.
There is decent evidence that modern Freemasonry can trace its roots to the Stone Mason Guilds created in England in the 10th century by King Aethelstan.
Our mythology goes back to the building of King Solomon’s Temple and the ancient stone mason guilds.
What are the tenets of Freemasonry?
- Bettering ourselves through education.
- Bettering our communities through charity.
- Brotherhood.

What if I don’t know any Masons?
If you don’t know any Masons that’s okay. You can come to any of our open events like our monthly All-Masonic Happy Hour. You can also join us for dinner before Lodge or for refreshments after Lodge. Once you’ve visited us for 6 months you can petition for membership.
The 6 month period allows us to get to know you and you to get to know us.
